FlowTogether uses its website as a tool to reach its customers. For this purpose, various web technologies are employed, and you might wonder whether and how these respect your privacy. In this article, you will find a concise explanation regarding these topics.
When you sign up for one of our services or fill out and submit one of our forms to our servers, you effectively provide us with your personal data. We need some of this personal data to assist you further (after all, we can’t reach you without your email address), but regarding how we handle it, we can guarantee the following
- We do not register personal data that you do not explicitly provide. If we ask for your name and email address in a form, we will only register your name and email address. No IP address or geographical location from where you filled out the form, no demographic group you might belong to, only the data you send us.
- We encrypt your personal data in such a way that only the website administrators can access the data from a secure environment. Even in the event of a data breach or hack, this data would be unusable for third parties.
- We do not store your personal data longer than necessary. The duration depends on the purpose for which we stored the data. You can see the specific data we store under type of personal data.
Functional cookies are small files, often with a unique number, that are temporarily placed in your browser to remember who you are during a single visit—for example, to remember which account you are logged into or which products you have placed in your shopping cart. FlowTogether does not use such functions and therefore does not place functional cookies.
To measure website activities such as visitor numbers, how often a link is clicked, or how long visitors stay on our newest pages, we perform analytical measurements on our website. To enable these measurements, we store analytical cookies to remember who you are. We do not collect personal data and store all your data completely anonymously. We use this analytical data to reflect on and improve our website. Would you like to disable our analytics services for your visits? You can opt out.
Tracking cookies are cookies often placed by external services such as YouTube and advertising services to measure your browsing behavior across different domains. FlowTogether does not use these external services and therefore does not place tracking cookies.
We currently store personal data in a single category:Form(s): When you fill out a (contact) form on our website, we store the data you provided (completely encrypted). We only store the data you explicitly provide and do not retain it for more than a year.
